公路列車
公路列車，實為多車節的掛接車輛，是全世界最長的車種，可以長達50公尺，為澳洲偏遠地區常用於運輸物資的主要交通工具。在美国、加拿大、墨西哥也有使用。最早已知的公路列车出现在南澳大利亚的奥古斯塔港地区。第二次布尔战争期间，英军使用了武装的公路列车。一般认为澳大利亚人Kurt Johansson是现代公路列车的发明者，他在20世纪中叶设计了能运送100头牛的列车。
