凱西·貝茲
凱西·貝茲（Kathy Bates，1948年6月28日－）是一位資深美國實力派影視演員及電影導演，屢次獲提名奧斯卡最佳女配角獎及金球獎，更於1991年以《戰慄遊戲》（Misery）贏得第63屆奧斯卡最佳女主角獎。

生平
貝茲出生於田納西州孟斐斯，父親Langdon Doyle Bates為機械工程師，母親Bertye Kathleen（閨姓Talbot）為家庭主婦。[1] 貝茲是家中的老么，有兩名姊姊。貝茲的高（外）祖父於十九世紀從愛爾蘭移民到新奥尔良，更曾是美國總統安德鲁·杰克逊的醫生。[2]
貝茲大學於南方卫理公会大学就讀，主修戲劇，期間為姊妹會Alpha Delta Pi會員。1969年畢業後，翌年到紐約發展事業。
