嗜血法医 (第八季)

《嗜血法医》第八季于2011年11月18日被Showtime连同第七季一起续订[1][2]，2012年5月执行制片人Sara Colleton表示第八季将是最后一季[3]，并表示一些故事将穿插到第八季[4][5]。2013年1月12日Showtime宣布第八季将在夏季播出，于6月30日起在星期天9pm播出并前导新剧RAY DONOVAN[6]；由于上季的优异表现，Showtime在2013年1月12日的电视评论协会冬季媒体见面会表示第八季是否为最后一季还没确定[7][8]。而在3月6日Showtime的母公司CBS的CEO表示第八季将为最后一季[9][10]，最终Showtime电视网于4月19日确定第八季是最后一季[11]。
