國家櫻花節

國家櫻花節（英語：，日语：）是在美國華盛頓哥倫比亞特區每年春季舉辦的節日，其來由是1912年3月27日時任日本東京市長尾崎行雄向華府贈送櫻花。在華府種植櫻花的計劃開始於1885年[1]。1908年，東京首次正式贈送櫻花給華府，但這批櫻花由於病蟲害後來被燒毀。1912年，日本再次贈送櫻花給華府。此後日本多次贈送櫻花給華府。現在國家櫻花節於每年3月最後一個禮拜六開始舉辦，為期兩週。
