大衛·J·彼得森（英語：、1981年1月20日－）是一名美國語言創造者、作家和藝術家。

生平

從1999年至2003年就讀於加州大學柏克萊分校，獲得英語和語言學學士學位。[2] 亦獲得加利福尼亞大學聖地牙哥分校（2003年-06年）語言學碩士學位。[2]

自2000年以來、彼得森所創建最出名的語言是為HBO《權力的遊戲》（2009年）影集系列創建多斯拉其語和瓦雷利亞語言，及為Syfy頻道《地球異世界》（2011年以來）劇集創建"卡蒂森語"（Castithan）、"艾洛森語"（Irathient）。[2][4] 他還為電影《雷神奇俠2：黑暗世界》裡的"黑暗精靈"（Elves（Marvel Comics））創建語言。[5] 於2007年，他與與其他九個語言創建者協同創辦了語言創建協會，[2]並擔任其主席（2012年-2014年）。[6]

彼得森為《地球異世界》劇集創建兩個較全和兩個較小型的語言時，他亦為這些語言開發了一個數詞系統。[7]
