威廉·杰克
威廉·杰克曾被雇为东印度公司派往印度的外科医生,与纳萨尼尔·瓦立池一起对当地植物进行了研究。[1]1818年,他陪同斯坦福·莱佛士来到苏门答腊,并在此采集到了大量动植物标本。[1]但其大部分手稿、图画及标本都毁于1824年的一场大火。[1]
