民團 (防禦團體)

民團，係一種由地方人民自行組織或由地方豪族組織的防禦團體。其主要工作爲防禦盜賊的入侵[1][2]。中華民國大陸時期，民團的指揮官由退伍回鄉的軍官擔任，帶有一定的民兵性質[3]。
