環蛺蝶屬

環蛺蝶屬（學名：，英文俗名：）是線蛺蝶亞科裡的一個屬，物種繁多。廣泛分佈於舊大陸的亞熱帶地區。棲息於森林、林緣、草原、荒地和農園等各種環境。成蝶有訪花性，也會吸食死屍、糞便等腐敗物。[1]

分子系統發生學研究指出此屬不是單系群，與部份蟠蛺蝶屬和菲蛺蝶屬的演化支混合，需要進一步研究以整合分類。[2]

形態

複眼光滑。觸角細長。雄蝶前足短小附節癒合雌蝶則前足細長，附節分節。翅形左右長，前後短。前翅R2脈從中室端發出，後翅肩脈末端分岔。翅面底色呈黑褐色，上具白、黃或橙色帶紋，腹面底色彩較淺，斑紋較複雜。雄蝶前翅腹面後側及後翅背面前側有性標。前後翅中室均開放。卵表密生短棘，幼蟲體表具稀疏棘刺。[1]

寄主

由於部分種類為多食性，因此幼蟲的寄主植物範圍很廣，包括：薔薇科、大戟科、無患子科、錦葵科、豆科、殼斗科、使君子科、鼠李科、蕁麻科、金絲桃科、樺木科等植物。[1]
