神经分泌细胞，将神经信号转变成化学刺激的神经元。神经分泌细胞能产生神经激素，神经激素沿轴突移，在神经血器官（轴突终端与毛细血管紧密接触的特殊部位）释放至血液中。神经分泌细胞见于多数多细胞动物。
