莫里斯·斯瓦迪士
莫里斯·斯瓦迪士（英文：Morris Swadesh 1909年1月22日－1967年7月20日）是一位有影响却充满争议的美国语言学家。他曾把历史语言学的基本概念应用于美洲土著语言之中。他认为存在一种可以适用于所有语言的规则。他将其一生主要用于对比美洲语言以发现其中的相关性。他曾对语言年代学做出很大贡献，发明了斯瓦迪士核心词列表。
