伊朗海军
伊朗伊斯兰共和国海军（波斯語：）简称伊朗海军，是伊朗伊斯兰共和国的海上军事力量的重要组成部分，拥有兵员约2万人，其中包括约2,000人的海军航空兵及海军陆战队[1]。

Alvand巡防艦
Fokker 27 巡邏機
三艘基洛級潛艦是伊朗最主要海軍威懾戰力
長期以來經濟制裁伊朗海軍較弱，所以以非對稱作戰思維為主，同時也展開自己的造艦計畫，伊朗国防科技大学研制的“游泳者15”号微型潛艇，于2000年8月29日在阿巴斯港建成下水，这是伊朗海军的第一艘国产潜艇。1996年宣布自行建造3艘1000吨级驱逐舰，至2002年上半年，首艘摩杰号(Moje)完工，这是伊朗海军的第一艘国产驱逐舰。但大致來說伊朗自製船艦現代化水準低數量少，沒有與大國海軍較量的能力，只能依靠潛艦和水雷部署能力形成有限威懾作戰。

- 伊朗製，they are reversed engineering of Alvand class frigates. The first one became operational in 2010 and was entered into service in the Persian gulf, and the second one (the Damavand) was completed in 2013 and is in service in the Caspian Sea. More are under construction, to be added to the navy, in the Persian Gulf.

- Iranian built. They are a larger, more modern, new generation of upgraded and enhanced Template:Sclass2-s with a larger variety of potent armament. These guided missile frigates are designed to carry a Sikorsky CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopter, or two Bell-Agusta 212 helicopters. One of them (Iranian frigate Sahand 2012) is being fitted-up with armament and avionics/electronics, and will be in service in 2013. There are more planned for construction.
