坎底語

坎底語，是分布於緬甸和印度的台語民族坎底傣的母語，屬壯傣語支西南支。

人口

在緬甸，實皆省有3500人，在克欽邦的密支那有4500人坎底語。在印度則有5000人分布於阿薩姆邦和阿魯納恰爾邦，主要生活在布拉馬普特拉河北岸。可分為三種方言，多數坎底傣也說緬甸語和阿薩姆語。

歷史

坎底語與坎底傣也是起源於上緬甸的孟拱，在1850年時有300-400個坎底語移民至阿薩姆邦。
