大衛・西爾維安(1979年)
在1974年，與Mick Karn、Richard Barbieri及弟弟Steve Jansen共同組成「Japan樂隊」。在1982年「Japan樂隊」解散後，繼續與坂本龙一和其他音乐家合作演出眾多作品。曾以演唱坂本龙一為電影《戰場上的快樂聖誕》（戦場のメリークリスマス／Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence）所編著主題曲《禁色》（Forbidden Colours），而一時聞名。
作為优秀的歌手，同一时间他擔任作曲家，且風格追求廣泛，涵蓋氛围音乐、電子音樂、当代古典音乐、融合爵士樂和另类摇滚。
在私人生活中，1992年與美国歌手Ingrid Julia Chavez組織家庭，二人有兩名女孩，後於2005年离婚。
