布劳德陨石坑

布劳德陨石坑（Braude）是位于月球背面南极附近的一座小撞击坑，形成时期不清楚，其名称取自前苏联时期乌克兰犹太裔物理学家暨射电天文学家塞米翁·布劳德（Semion Braude，1911年－2003年），2009年被国际天文学联合会正式接受[1]。

描述

该陨坑西侧靠近较大的尼菲德耶夫陨石坑、西北毗邻更巨大的薛定谔环形山，大小相似的拉韦朗陨石坑位于它的东面，南面慢横亘了维舍特陨石坑[2]。其中心月面坐标为81.82°S 158.88°E / -81.82; 158.88，直径11.28公里[3]，深度约1.85公里[4]。

布劳德陨石坑是一座圆杯状的撞击坑，几乎未受到明显的侵蚀和磨损，坑壁峻峭、边缘清晰完整，平坦陡峭的内侧壁具有较高的反照率。其坑壁最大高出周边地形420米[4]，内部容积约57.41立方千米[4]。
