祖基环形山

祖基环形山（Zucchius）是位于月球正面西南边沿的一座大撞击坑，约形成于11亿年前的哥白尼纪[1]，其名称取自意大利耶稣会修士数学家暨天文学家"尼科洛·祖奇"(1586年-16705年)，1935年被国际天文学联合会正式接受。

描述

该陨坑东北偏北毗邻塞格纳环形山、西南坐落了巨大的环壁平原-巴伊环形山，略大的贝蒂尼环形山则位于它的东南，在它的东北坐落了形成于前酒海纪的席勒-祖基盆地(多环撞击结构)[2]，该盆地有时被观月者非正式地称作"席勒环形平原"[3]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为61.38°S 50.65°W / -61.38; -50.65，直径63.18公里[4]， 深约2.73公里[5]。由于它所处位置，从地球看，因透视作用其外观有所变形。

祖基环形山外观呈正圆形，坑壁因撞击侵蚀而略有磨损，其内侧壁带有明显的阶坡状结构。它的坑壁最大高出周边地形930米[5]，内部容积约为651.37公里3[5]。坑内地表大体平坦，但环坑底中心弯弧般坐落了一群小中央峰，环陨坑分布一圈射纹系统。
