維新里 (高雄市)

維新里是台湾高雄市永安區人口最多的里，1980年維新開始發展 由原來的農業漸漸改為工業 也是永安區的出入門戶。共有4033人(2018年5月)男:1986人 女:2047人，戶數1559戶(2018年5月)。維新里舊稱竹子港，日治初期曾為竹子港區的行政中心，今名來自清領時期的堡里名。
