聖高隆（愛爾蘭語：、、、，英語：[1][2][3]，521年12月7日－597年6月9日），又譯為聖高隆巴、聖哥倫巴、聖可倫巴、聖科倫巴，又稱大高隆巴（拉丁語：），生於愛爾蘭多尼戈爾郡，是著名的愛爾蘭蓋爾族天主教僧侶與修道院院長。聖高隆將基督教傳播到皮克特人之中，是將天主教傳入蘇格蘭及愛爾蘭的先驅。他在今日的蘇格蘭愛奧那島建立了修道院並長居於此，使其成為當時的宗教中心，因此也被稱為來自愛奧那的高隆巴（）。聖高隆在蓋爾族與皮克特人中倍受尊崇，被認為是愛爾蘭十二使徒之一。[4]

聖高隆的名字在愛爾蘭蓋爾語中，意思是教會的鴿子，另一個名字Kolban（原始諾爾斯語的名字Kolbjørn）意思是住在山洞中的黑熊。

生平

聖高隆出身於一個貴族的家庭，就讀於默維爾的芬巴和克洛納德學校。當他接受聖職之後，他就到處去宣教，並且協助建立倫敦德里和杜羅等地的教堂和修道院。[5] 他在蘇格蘭西邊的愛奧那島建立了一間修道院，這間修道院差派出許多的宣教士，高隆在蘇格蘭有很棒的工作，也建立了教會，並將福音傳給了在萊茵河以東的日耳曼民族。[6]

高隆是當時最偉大的基督教學者之一，是著名修道院院長和宣教士。他抄寫了許多的重要文獻，而這些文獻也流傳到各地。[7]
