背棘鱼目（学名：）又名棘鰻目，为脊索動物門辐鳍鱼纲其中一目，是鰻魚的旁系近親。

形態

本目是一类鳗形深海鱼类，栖息在水深120—4900m的深海，多数栖息于450—2500米水域，为肉食性鱼类。某些种类具有发光器官。[1]

分類

本目屬於新鰭亞綱、真骨下綱、海鰱高群、海鰱群（即海鰱總目），是鳗鲡目的姐妹群。[2]
