舌形贝綱是腕足動物門舌形貝亞門之下的兩個綱之一。這個綱的物種都是海洋生物，生活在温带和热带海域，肉莖粗大，能在海底钻洞穴居住，肉足可以在洞穴裡自由伸缩。绝大部分时间在洞穴裡，只靠外套膜上面的三个管子和外界接触。
