譚蒂·紐頓
梅勒妮·坦迪維·“譚蒂”·紐頓，OBE（Melanie Thandiwe "Thandie" Newton[2]，1972年11月6日－），英國女演員[3][4] 。她常現身於多部賣座英國和美國電影，代表的有《當幸福來敲門》、《求愛馬拉松》、《不可能的任務2》、《衝擊效應》和小布希傳《殊不簡單》。

早期生活
譚蒂·紐頓生於英國倫敦，母親是辛巴威醫療工作者，父親尼克·紐頓[5]是英國實驗工程師。[6]她的出生地常被誤報為非洲尚比亞[7]，然而在訪談中已證實她出生於倫敦，在她雙親旅行兩週的期間。[8][9][10]「譚蒂（Thandiwe）」在部分非洲民族語言意指「摯愛的（beloved）」[11]，發音念法為「Tan-dee」。[12]根據紐頓說法，她的母親是名辛巴威紹納族的公主。[13] 成長於英國倫敦和康沃爾，1992年至1995年就讀於劍橋大學唐寧學院的社會人類學系，以中等成績畢業。[14]
