金三角名校

金三角名校（Golden Triangle）是指位于英国牛津、剑桥及伦敦三个城市的一批最顶尖社会与人文科学研究型大学。[1][2]

其中代表牛津的牛津大学；代表剑桥的是剑桥大学；而代表伦敦的是伦敦大学（伦敦国王学院、伦敦经济政治学院、伦敦大学学院），以及伦敦帝国学院。[3] 牛津，剑桥和伦敦大学下属的各学院亦共同合作研究，如从事各类学术方面的研究。 [4][5]

研究经费

金三角名校成员普遍比其他英国大学获得较多的研究经费。在2009/10学年度，牛津、帝国学院、伦敦大学学院与剑桥的研究经费分居全英国各大学的前四名，国王学院则是第七名。规模比较小而且比较特殊的伦敦经济政治学院，则拥有两千万英磅的研究经费。[20]
