阿什顿·卡特
阿什顿·鲍德温·卡特（Ashton Baldwin Carter，1954年9月24日－），美国民主黨籍政治人物。2011年10月6日至2013年12月担任美国国防部副部长，2015年2月17日至2017年1月20日担任美国国防部部长。

阿什顿·卡特在耶鲁大学获得学士学位，在牛津大学获得理论物理博士学位。
2009年4月27日至2011年10月5日，曾担任美国国防部采购、技术和后勤副部长。（Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics）。
2015年2月17日接替查克·海格就任第25任国防部部长。
