因為2007-08年美國編劇協會大罷工，這部電視劇只完成了9/22集。[3] 2008年2月11日，美國廣播公司把點到即止放到2008-09年度的電視節目表裡，這意味著這部電視劇獲預訂下一季，並將會在2008年10月1日開播。[4]
