F-X先進戰機專案

F-X先進戰機專案是大韓民國空軍設立的戰鬥機升級汰換計畫，在於增強空戰能力應對朝鮮人民軍飛彈相關武器發展。 [1]

南韓F-15K

階段一

F-X第一階段始於2002年，目的在於更換老舊的F-5戰鬥機，主要目標還是以外購現成戰機為主，入選的有颱風戰機和F-15K、Su-35。最終於F-15K得標。

階段二

2007年提出的第二階段為升級專案，將F-15K的發動機升級為F100-PW-229EEP。

階段三

2014年提出的第三階段是要淘汰老舊的F-4E戰機取得新的多用途戰機，原本意圖取得F-22然而美國禁止出口，所以F-15SE、F-35和T-50列入考慮，瑞典也表示願意推出一種JAS-39的變型版本角逐。預算為73億美金購買60架，最終較有可能購買F-35。[2]最終於F-35A得標。[3][4]
