概要
BIGBANG的首張迷你專輯《Always》進一步成功確立了團體在韓國的人氣，而隨後趁勝追擊推出第二張迷你專輯《Hot Issue》，當中的主打曲〈最後的問候〉（韓語：마지막 인사）在Juke-On排行榜上連續8週蟬聯冠軍[2]，並擁有超過500萬的數位下載銷售紀錄[3]，專輯在韓國則銷售超過12萬張[4]。BIGBANG的隊長在當時僅有20歲的G-Dragon開始把更多的時間用在專輯歌曲的製作上，並為此張專輯創作了絕大多數的歌曲，其中專輯內收錄的6首新曲中有5首便是出自於G-Dragon的創作，〈最後的問候〉融入了Hip-Hop及pop melodies的元素，而這首歌也成功取得「Cyworld數位音樂大賞」12月份的人氣歌曲獎。[5]
