IBM WebExplorer

IBM网页浏览器（英語：）是一款早期运行于OS/2的网页浏览器，现在已经停止维护，由位于三角研究园的IBM设计。

历史

在1994年推出OS/2 Warp (v3)时，它被《Internet Magazine》杂志在其11月刊中誉为最佳浏览器，并在当时发挥了其作为OS/2中唯一原生浏览器的作用。在HTML资料手册：HTML完整指南中，这是“即将来临的吸引力” 。在引入OS / 2 Warp第3版之后，IBM立即撤消了开发团队的工作，这使WebExplorer陷入了历史的泥潭。

1995年，它被添加到IBM专有的UNIX平台AIX中。[1]

IBM发布了数个版本。IBM发布了一些测试版，并修复了网页浏览器中的许多bug，其中一个测试版支持Java。

缺点

这个浏览器不支持框架，并且像Java之类的插件的安装非常复杂。[5]
