學士
名稱由來
學士的概念最初是源自於中國唐朝的官職名，日本仿效唐朝的律令制之際，將在皇太子身旁的教育官賦予東宮學士的官名。明治維新後，日本雖然廢除了東宮學士的官制，當將學士之名轉而給予了歐美各國的Bachelor。之後該譯名也引入朝鮮、中國等周邊國家。
中華人民共和國的學士分類
在中華人民共和國，大體可依學科類別分為理學學士、工學學士、文學學士、历史学学士、哲學學士、經濟學學士、法學學士、教育學學士、社會學學士、管理學學士、農學學士和醫學學士[1]。
英国學士分類
在英國完成整個大學三年課程便可得到榮譽學士學位。假如學生只完成兩年的課程就會得到本科文憑(Undergraduate Diploma)，假如只完成第一年的課程便可獲得本科證書(Undergraduate Certificate)。此外，劍橋大學和牛津大學會頒發一種名為「本科畢業文憑」的學位（Undergraduate Advanced Diploma），與學士學位同樣是英國資歷架構FHEQ級別6的課程，相當於學士的最後一年，本科畢業文憑與學士學位一樣能用於申請研究生院[2][3]。
