星条旗永不落

《星条旗永不落》（英語：），或翻译成，是美国作曲家約翰·菲利普·蘇沙的代表作，美国著名爱国主义进行曲。根据1987年的美国国家法令（The United States Code），《星条旗永不落》为美国國家进行曲（the national march of the United States of America）。

在中国，此歌常常与美国国歌《星条旗》因譯名相近和知名度更高等原因而與其混淆。

历史

根据苏萨的自传《独自行进》（Marching Along）所述，苏萨在1896年的圣诞节创作了这首曲子。当时他在一艘远洋游轮上，与妻子计划前往欧洲旅行。他得知了苏萨乐队的支持者大卫·布莱克利（David Blakely）逝世的消息。他在脑海𥚃创作了这首进行曲，并在到达美国的时候记在了纸上。[1]1897年，这首曲子在费城的威洛格罗夫公园首次演奏。立即受到追捧。[2]
