普法尔茨的鲁普雷希特亲王
鲁普雷希特（德语：Ruprecht von der Pfalz；英語：；1619年12月17日－1682年11月29日），英语译作魯珀特，萊茵王領侯爵（Count Palatine）、巴伐利亞公爵、第一代坎伯蘭公爵、第一代霍德尼斯侯爵，通常被稱為萊茵的魯珀特王子。他是選帝侯腓特烈五世與英王詹姆斯一世之長女伊莉莎白·斯圖亞特之子，故也是查理一世的外甥。

生平
青年時代的鲁普雷希特是一名軍人，曾在八十年戰爭中對抗西班牙哈布斯堡王朝，也在三十年戰爭期間對抗神聖羅馬帝國，在英國內戰中也擔任騎兵指揮官，但在投降後被逐出英格蘭。[1]之後也曾協助法王路易十四對抗西班牙，又在加勒比海上從事私掠。最後回到英格蘭，並在第二次及第三次英荷戰爭中擔任海軍高階指揮官，之後從事科學發明、藝術，也擔任哈德遜灣公司的第一任總督，加拿大的大片地域，因此被命名為「鲁珀特地」。1682年逝世於倫敦。
