西蒙·格奥尔格·弗赖赫尔·冯·辛纳斯

西蒙·格奥尔格·弗赖赫尔·冯·辛纳斯希臘語; 1810–1876)是一位希腊奥地利银行家贵族慈善家外交官[1]

简历

西蒙·辛纳斯于1810年8月15日出生于维也纳[2],祖籍为莫斯科波莱希腊人[1][3]。他曾先后担任过希腊维也纳总领事及驻奥地利巴伐利亚王国德国大使。其父亲乔治斯·辛纳斯( Georgios Sinas)[3]也是一名慈善家和外交官,西蒙·辛纳斯扩展了他父亲的生意。 曾为奥地利匈牙利希腊各类教育和科学基金作过大笔的捐助[4]。在他担任希腊驻奥地利大使期间,专门在希纳斯大厅为约翰·巴普蒂斯特·施特劳斯创作的《希腊人波尔卡》举办过希腊球舞会。

西蒙·辛纳斯后来成为奥地利国家银行董事,并在维也纳创建了西蒙·格奥尔格·辛纳斯银行[2]第二次石勒苏益格战争结束后,他出资帮助奥地利从石勒苏益格-荷尔斯泰因迁返了部队[2] 从1874年起,他一直居留在奥地利的赫恩豪森区(Herrenhaus)[2]

辛纳斯曾捐助过布达佩斯匈牙利科学院维也纳圣三一希腊教堂、雅典东正教大教堂和雅典学院等[4]。他的父亲曾可能创建了雅典国家天文台基金[5],因此,辛纳斯也是一名天文事业赞助人,月球上的辛纳斯陨石坑就是以他的名字命名的[6]。1876年4月15日西蒙·辛纳斯在维也纳去世[2]
