角盲蝽屬

角盲蝽屬物種的小楯片上有一條脊棱，是其辨識特徵[4]。本屬物種的辨識乃基於其形態學特徵， with considerable variations in colouration between insects of the same species (although for example, H. theivora is characteristically green and H. antonii red-brown).

• 角盲蝽 Helopeltis cinchonae = H. brevicornis
• H. collaris：只見於菲律宾。
• H. cuneata = H. elegans
• 茶角盲椿象 H. fasciaticollis Poppius[1][2]= H. pallidus：見於台灣，會影響茶樹。
• H. insularis
• H. obscuratus
• H. pelucida
• H. sulawesi：分佈於苏拉威西岛
• H. sumatranus：分佈於蘇門答臘
• 腰果茶角盲蝽 Helopeltis theivora (Waterhouse)[6][7]：分佈於印度至爪哇岛，也見於中国的海南島[8]及香港[9]。懼光，會侵襲腰果和茶樹[6]。
  • H. theobromae：本物種的亞種，但亦有其他文獻亦認為是上述物種的異名。

Very similar to Helopeltis, the African species were placed into Afropeltis by Schmitz (1968);[10] these species usually have a lesser pests status than their Asian counterparts, with Sahlbergella singularis and Distantiella theobromae causing greatest cocoa tree and crop damage. Monalonion species, belonging to the same 族 (生物), are similarly minor pests of 拉丁美洲n cocoa.

Entwistle (1972) lists and maps ten species of Afropeltis attacking cocoa:

• the A. bergrothi group:
  • A. bergrothi: widely distributed east of the 尼日尔河
  • A. lalendei (= H. bergevini): very common, 科特迪瓦 to 奈及利亞
  • A. serendensis: Ivory Coast and probably 加纳
  • A. corbisieri: humid forest in central Africa
  • A. gerini: southern 喀麦隆殖民地
  • A. mayumbensis: north and east of the 刚果河
• A. poppiusi: widespread, but only found on cocoa in 科特迪瓦
• A. schoutedeni: the most widespread in tropical Africa
• A. lemosi: 圣多美和普林西比
• A. westwoodi: widespread in west and central Africa
