詩論

詩論（英語：）是文學形式的意見和文學探討。詩論可以專指對詩歌的意見，廣義上亦可以用作指「意見」的概念。[1]

歷史

學者T. V. F.布羅根識別[2]了西方詩論在過去3000年間的三個主要運動：首先是形式主義、實在論亞里斯多德主義（參見詩學）。 在浪漫主義時期，詩論變得趨向於表現主義，並強調對物件的感知。在20世紀時，詩論回歸到亞里斯多德的示範，其後趨向於「變化評論」（，或詩論的理論的建立。

西方詩論主要依照抒情诗發展，與之相對的則是模仿。[2]

文學評論

詩論與解釋學不同，其不同之處在於詩論的重點不是文字的意思，而是理解文字中的不同元素如何組合以對讀者產生若干效果。[3]大多數的文學評論將詩論和解釋學結合，運用在單一的分析當中。
