第88屆奧斯卡金像獎最佳外語片角逐名單

本条目是第88届奥斯卡金像奖最佳外语片奖的角逐名单。美国电影艺术与科学学会自1956年设立该奖以来，每年都会邀请各国电影行业提交他们当年最出色的电影参加最佳外语片奖评选[1]。该奖项每年由学院颁发主要包含非英语对白的非美国制作电影长片[1][2]。外语片奖委员会负责监督评选过程、审阅所有被提交的电影。奥斯卡提名公布的前一个星期，九名入围的竞争者被公布[2]。

匈牙利导演拉斯洛·杰莱斯凭借《索尔之子》赢得奥斯卡金像奖最佳外语片奖。

所有被提交的电影必须于2014年10月1日到2015年9月30日期间在制片国家公映。提交截至时间为2015年10月1日，当月晚些时候学院将公布符合条件的影片名单[3][4]。在合条件影片名单中脱颖而出的九部入围正式提名名单的电影于12月17日公布[5][6]。最终提名名单定于2016年1月14日公布[3][7][8]。

共有81个国家在截止日期前提交了作品[9][10]。今年巴拉圭首次提交作品，是纪录片《多云天气》[11]。

学院于2015年10月公布了资格提交名单。12月17日，经筛选的九位候选作品名单公布。2016年1月14日，五部最终候选作品名单公布。冠军由拉斯洛·杰莱斯执导的匈牙利电影《索尔之子》获得[3][4]。

  • 中国大陆据报起初提交的电影是让-雅克·阿诺电影的《狼图腾》[90]，但当最终名单公布时变为韩延的《滚蛋吧！肿瘤君》[9]。原因为中方主创人员的署名比例不符合申报奥斯卡最佳外语片的要求。
  • 巴拿马据报道提交了纪录片《25号盒子》[91]，但该片未出现在最终名单上[9]。

其他國家
  • 古巴宣布已组建评选委员会，但大多数人投票决定不向奥斯卡递交影片[92]。
  • 尼日利亚奥斯卡评选委员会请求于2015年7月6日递交影片[93]。去年，该国曾计划首次递交影片，但最终没有符合要求的条件[93]。
  • 乌克兰错过提交影片截止日期，要求学院延期[94]。
